Timb accepts returns as per the following policy

  • Only defective/damaged books will be accepted for returns/refunds. (Please note: We ship the consignments with proper examination to avoid damaged shipping)
  • The customer needs to raise an alert with us within 2 working days from the date of delivery to be eligible for the return
  • Only those books will be eligible for return policies that are received by us within 10 working days of the date of delivery
  • Retains the rights to examine whether the books returned are defective/damaged and based on the verification Timb will either reship/replace the Books to the customer
  • In case books are defective or damaged then Timb will replace and reship the books to the same shipping address of the customer subject to the availability of the stock of the books
  • In case the returned books are not defective/damaged then the customer will be informed about the same and the same books will be reshipped to the shipping address of the order
  • The customer will have to bear the shipment charges for the replaced/reshipped books
  • If the book stock is unavailable then a request for a refund will be initiated and the same shall be informed to the customer through a registered email ID
  • Books bought at the Clearance sale could not be returned
  • This return policy is not applicable if you visit our affiliated bookshops and choose to purchase the books personally.


Timb refund policies are as follows

  • Only those books that are returned from the customers as per the acceptable return policy and for which the replacement is not possible will be eligible for refunds
  • In the event that a book is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or book information, Timb may, at its discretion, either contact the customer for instructions or cancel the order and notify the customer of such cancellation. In such cases, Timb will refund the charged amount to the customer (only for which the payment is already received), For Online Refund
  • In case the payment mode of the refunded order is Online (Credit Card/Net Banking) the amount will be refunded to the customer Card Account. Refund will be done within 2 working days from the date of request of refund
